A fun-filled travel group by Reminisce is the latest of the new goodies to arrive at Scrapbook Generation! While we were thinking travel, we restocked EVERY destination sticker set by Jolee's, and most of the Jet Setter embellishments by Reminisce. In addition, the rest of the Flower Patch papers by Making Memories arrived -- think flocked bunnies, glitter butterflies, and more! There's also a great 12x12 transparency that looks orange on the shelf but is actually a light peach to match the papers.

Just to keep you updated on what will be coming in over the next couple of weeks...
-- My Little Shoebox -- some great papers; we think you'll love this company;
-- Studio 8 -- a cute Easter group and more;
-- Pebbles -- Easter and more
-- Sassafrass Lass -- a sampling of products, which definitely have a style of their own;
-- Crate Paper -- everything!

There's more! This has to be the best week ever for cute new stuff arriving at Scrapbook Generation! In addition to all the new collections by My Mind's Eye, BasicGrey, Pink Paislee, Teresa Collins Designs, KaiserCraft, and BoBunny, we now have Easter and spring goodies! Reminisce has a great Easter group which I really like because the colors are suitable for both boys and girls. There is also a very pretty spring group called Flower Patch by Making Memories. We also have lots of Easter and spring embellishments by Jolee's and others.

We're just getting started. Much more to come in future weeks, including Crate Paper and other favorites!

This is six of the seven new collections by BoBunny! The seventh is an Easter group, and we'll have it out tomorrow, when we're getting a huge shipment of Easter papers and embellishments by a variety of companies.

I haven't quite figured out how to leave a comment to thank those of you who were so nice to write me messages of friendship and condolence. I'll have Stacey help me later today! And Amy, now you've really got a problem! Look at all this new stuff!

The top four photos are the new BasicGrey Marrakech and Porcelain collections...next five photos are new Teresa Collins Designs goodies...next four photos are the new Pink Paislee collections!

When I walked in to Scrapbook Generation today, it was like seeing a whole new store! Yesterday while they were getting all these new items displayed, Karin and Stacey actually ran out of paper trays, and we had just recently bought 400 more! We have seven new Bo-Bunny collections coming in today, and I'm not sure where we are going to put them.

Because of the huge amount of new papers in the last few days, we've added a 50% off sale section for the overflow papers.

Feast your eyes on the new My Mind's Eye collections! Penny Lane is the largest collection, with four sub-groups including die-cut titles and transparencies, plus the addition of several die-cut papers. Bella Bella and Bloom & Grow are two smaller groups, with papers and matching die-cut sheets. These groups also have collection packs so you can get it all with little effort!

The March issue of Creating Keepsakes has finally arrived, and we're so proud of Allison's third article in the magazine, an eight-page tutorial on how to use your photos to form large shapes on your pages -- like rectangles, circles, squares, stars, etc. The layouts in the article are all hers, and I think you'll love them!

We also received more copies of 101 Expert Solutions, which sold out the first time we had it in about a day! The idea book combines what used to be the Hall of Fame issue with articles and layouts from the CK Dream Team. Allison was fortunate enough to be one of only five people chosen for the CK Dream Team for the second year in a row! We also have Brian Tippets' new book, Get Creative with Type.

This is one of the two most fun times of the year around Scrapbook Generation. All of the new CHA products are starting to roll in, and it's Christmas almost every day!

My Mind's Eye...
All of this company's new goodies arrived today, and Stacey is working hard to get everything priced and out on the shelves. It all should be in place by the time we open on Tuesday. MME always comes up with something different for their new collections, and this time, they have incorporated die-cut pages into their groups! We have every single thing they came out with at winter CHA! I won't be here tomorrow, but I'll sweet talk Stacey into putting pics on the blog!

BasicGrey...
The new Marrakech and Porcelain collections will arrive on Wednesday, and again, we'll have every single new item!

BoBunny...
All seven new collections will be here Thursday!

Teresa Collins Designs...
Five new collections will arrive sometime this week, I just don't know the specific day.

Pink Paislee...
Four new collections will arrive within the next two weeks. This Missouri company is one of my new favorites! We used two of their groups for our Super-Saver Scrapbooking sessions, and everyone seems to love their style.

Retreat updates...
The March 20 retreat is down to the last two spots. The March 13 retreat has less than 10 spots.

New arrivals at Scrapbook Generation! From We R Memory Keepers, we have two bright collections of heavy-weight double-sided papers, many of which are quartered into four different designs and are great for mini-albums, or just to get many designs for the same price. We also have eight new collections of four double-sided papers each from KaiserCraft. There are lots of new albums, including binder-style albums from Making Memories. Each color has a different embossed design. Really nice!

On the way to us...
-- My Mind's Eye: everything new they have created for this spring! The order should be here any day.
-- Teresa Collins Designs: five great collections, including Documented, Family Matters, Haute Cuisine, Journal It, and Boardwalk. You'll love these papers and die-cuts, which are both different and fun!
-- BasicGrey: both the Marrakech and Porcelain collections -- everything available!
-- BoBunny: all seven new collections, including themes of birthdays, bugs, little girls, pets, and more. This company has some great new sticker sets that include both letter stickers and swirls and borders!

It's been a difficult week...
After losing our good friend Linda Hoover in November, we've had another loss. Sonya Hesterly, one of my three "cruising buddies" and a long-time family friend from my home town of Mansfield, died of an apparent heart attack late Tuesday evening. She was 56 years old. Her services are Friday.

I've known Sonya since our girls were little. Together, we made it through church Christmas programs, neighborhood birthday parties, Vacation Bible Schools, and summer softball games. I had her son and daughter in my high school classes. In later years, our mothers became best friends, and that gave us even more in common.

Sonya and her best friend Judy always loved to cross stitch, and were good customers of my cousin Leslie's cross stitch store in Bolivar. When Leslie had to close her business, I tried to get Sonya and Judy addicted to scrapbooking. It took easily with Judy, because she had a new granddaughter. Sonya was resistant, but after going to two of our retreats, she was hooked. At our recent Scrap-a-Palooza, she learned some new skills, and was really interested in making pages of her four grandchildren, including the cutest set of blonde twin boys you've ever seen. She had just joined our Remember Me Club this past month and was going to attend one of our March retreats.

I think that it still hasn't hit me that she's gone. Just three days before she died, I had another jolt of a personal nature, and for the past four days, I've drawn strength from a circle of women. They range in age from late 20s to early 80s, and I feel surrounded by their love and care and concern. Some are friends, some are family. All are wonderful.

I wanted you to see the great new items that came in yesterday from Making Memories! There are four color groups, and each is stunning! Each group has regular papers, and also a die-cut paper and a flocked paper. (And compared to some companies, the price is right -- the die-cut and flocked papers are both under $1!) In addition, some of the die-cut papers aren't die-cut on the edges, but in the interior of the pages -- super for those of you who like to think outside the box.

I also love the embellishments, including matching sets of buttons and flowers, ribbons, puffy stickers, journaling books (tear out the pages to use on your layout!), letter stickers, glitter stickers, and my favorite -- the most stylish set of shimmer brads and epoxy brads I've ever seen. I want sets in all four colors!

Retreat update:
Only three spots left in the March 20 weekend retreat. The March 13 retreat has less than 10 spots available.

Scrap-a-Palooza update:
It's official! We have finalized dates for a June and September repeat performance of the mega-popular mega-crop at Remington's. Registration details will be in our April/May newsletter. Thanks so much for making this event an instant success!

Super-Saver Scrapbooking sessions:
We're working with a sold-out crowd today -- over 60 people! If you're interested in the March sessions, I'd advise signing up as soon as possible. We're having great fun learning how to make three cute double-page layouts, on a budget of only $9!

Monday morning reminder:
Scrapbook Generation will be featured on the early morning news show on Fox 27 television, sometime after 7:15, to show some simple Valentine's projects to area viewers.

Incoming products:
Next week, expect to see two bright and colorful collections by We R Memory Keepers, 36 great double-sided papers by KaiserCraft, and a new selection of albums, including some three-ring binder style albums by Making Memories. I'll let you know more goodies as I find out shipping times.

Lots of new Valentine stuff arrived yesterday at Scrapbook Generation, and the pinks and reds really brighten up the store! We have Valentine goodies from Making Memories, Reminisce, Scenic Route, K & Company, Little Yellow Bicycle, Rusty Pickle, and My Mind's Eye, to name a few.

Arriving Friday, the four Papiere collections from Making Memories I mentioned earlier this week. I've been liking their products more lately -- so many cute die-cut papers and different embellishments!

All 56 spots for Super-Saver Scrapbooking this Saturday are sold-out! If you didn't get in on the fun this month, think about registering early for March.

If you're looking for Valentine's goodies, check out Scrapbook Generation! We'll have several paper groups and embellishment sets arriving Wednesday afternoon, including Reminisce, Making Memories, Scenic Route, K & Company, and more.

Next arrivals (Thursday or Friday) will be an interesting concept from Making Memories. There are four collections called Papiere, each in a different color family: red, blue, brown, and green. In addition to regular papers, there are die-cut papers, flocked papers, and a ton of matching embellishments, including flowers and buttons, ribbons, glitter stickers, and more.

On the horizon: I just talked to the guys at My Mind's Eye, and all their new CHA products will be on their way to us sometime this week, so I'm expecting them to arrive sometime next week! There are three outstanding new collections, and all the matching goodies that they are known for.

This is the first of the new items from CHA winter show, but it won't be the last! Also arriving in the next few weeks: Crate Paper, BasicGrey, KI Memories, Scenic Route, and all your other favorites!

An update on the Super Saver Scrapbooking sessions coming up this Saturday. We are down to our last two of 56 spots! It looks like we're going to have a sell-out crowd!
