In trying to explain both the in-store and club changes together, I probably made it too complicated. Today, I'm going to split the two in hopes of making it more clear.
Saturday classes at SG...
• On the second Saturday of the month for over five years, we've been having the Debbie Sanders sketch sessions. On the third Saturday, the Allison Davis sketch sessions.
• Starting in January, on the second Saturday and the third Saturday, both Allison and Debbie will be designing sketches using the same set of papers.
• When you attend one of the sessions at SG (or are a local person who picks up a kit), you'll get both sketches -- free. You can choose which one you like best to make your page.
• Bottom line: instead of one free sketch on those two Saturdays, you'll get two.
Super Sketch Club...
• The Super Sketch Club is based on the three Saturday activities we do here at SG. The Super-Saver Scrapbooking portion of the club (three layouts and three sketches, cardstock, papers, and an embellishment) will remain the same.
• In addition to getting a Debbie Sanders sketch with two cardstocks, three papers and a sketch, you will now get a second free sketch, based on that group of papers, by Allison Davis.
• In addition to getting an Allison Davis sketch with two cardstocks,
three papers and a sketch, you will now get a second free sketch,
based on that group of papers, by Debbie Sanders.
• Bottom line about materials: nothing changes.
• Bottom line about price: nothing changes.
• Bottom line about sketches: two additional FREE sketches each month.
• Bottom line about what you need to do for this to happen: if you're already a club member -- nothing.
Options for Super Sketch Club members with this new format:
• Some of you may know that you'll always want to be able to make
both the Debbie and Allison layouts each Saturday. Starting with
January, you can enroll in Super Sketch Club Double Up. For an
additional $10 ($30 per month instead of $20), you'll receive an extra
set of identical materials for the Allison and Debbie portions
of the club. (You would be able to make both Allison layouts and both Debbie layouts that will be shown on the blog each month.)
• Some of you may want to occasionally order extra materials so
that you can make both the Debbie and Allison layouts from a particular
Saturday. We will have a limited number of extra sets of paper available
as add-ons online only. Once they are sold out, the option is
unavailable.
• And last, we've heard your comments! Starting in January, we
will offer an optional embellishment that coordinates with each of the Allison/Debbie papers. The embellishment will usually
range from $1.99 to $5.99. The item(s) won't be used on the sample
sketch layouts; they are offered for those who would like to add another
level of interest and creativity to their pages. Again, there will be a
limited number of embellishment add-ons available online only, and once
they are sold out, the option is unavailable. (The SSC embellishment add-ons will not increase your shipping fee!)
All changes listed above will be available at scrapbookgeneration.com after the first of the year.
